Welcome to the first of my marketing series blog posts. Just as a brief introduction  – I am a recent graduate from my Masters degree in Digital Marketing. I wanted to begin channeling my passion and create informative marketing content for fellow marketeers, bloggers, new business start-ups, anyone wanting to brush up their digital marketing skills. I thought I’d kickstart this by sharing five free marketing tools to make the most of. 

Canva

Canva is one of my favourite tools I’ve come across to date. It is a free website whereby you can create a whole range of graphic content in any form you could think of – Instagram posts, Instagram stories, phone wallpapers, presentations – you name it. I started using Canva when I was creating infographics as part of my Masters degree, and since then I’ve found it a fantastic resource. 

Hubspot 

Hubspot  has a whole range of educational resources whereby you can learn more about marketing tools and methods, and up your marketing game. I love learning, and am constantly on the look out for new trends, tools, and techniques. Their blog pages are full of bite sized, readable content. 

Mailchimp

Mailchimp is a great and easy to use email marketing management service, and has a free version so is great for any start-ups and small businesses. On mailchimp you can create your emails, set up lists, and track performance of previous email campaigns. 

Google Analytics 

Google analytics is a free resource where you can track all your website data. Tracking your analytics is key in understanding engagement, referral sources, visitors, and other key performance indicators. Understanding your metrics is how you can then implement strategies for growth.
