Have you ever considered a trip to Seville? As the capital of Andalusia, Seville is known for its culture, stunning achirtechture and delicious food. Here’s how we spent our three night stay in the city.

We visited in February – and although not overly the hot, the sun shined every day and was a very pleasant temperature to explore the city (only jackets needed).

We stayed at the – Las Casas de la Judería, Sevilla Historic City Cente. Possibly the most charismatic hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Made up of 27 fifteenth centruy traditional houses creaitng an authentic feel. As you walk through the grounds you pass various courtyards, greenery and water features – a truly unique and beautiful setting. Inside, the hotel has a grand feel. If you are visiting over summer months, thers is also a rooftop pool to enjoy. Its central location was perfect for exploring the city – we ventured everywhere on foot without bother.

What I love about Seville is the number of spots for eating and drinking – whether it’s enjoying something refreshing on a rooftop bar, having a relaxing glass of wine on a side street watching the world go by, or cosying down for a drink and nibble in a traditional bar – the city has it all.

In between the food and dirnk, there’s plenty of culture and architecture to explore.

Plaza de España is a beautiful square build in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. A beautiful spot with water fountains, bridges and colourful ceramic tiles representing historical events, provinces of Spai, as well as literature and mytology.

The Aurora light show at Setas De Sevilla is a perfect evening activity before you dine for the evening. The light show runs on a loop with slots every 15 minutes – it’s an immersive experience that offers 360° panoramic views of the city.

Other spots we enjoyed, was the Parque de María Luisa and Palacio de las Dueñas. The Parque de María Luisa is a public park that stretches along the Guadalquivir River in Seville, Spain. A peaceful green space, perfect for a gentle stroll with a nearby coffee stop.

Finally, Palacio de las Dueñas is a 15th century palace offering stuning architectural and artistic heritage.

Whatever time of year you visit, there’s plenty to enjoy in Seville. 2-4 days is enough time to visit the main attractions. We would absolutely love to visit again.
